This isn’t a unique design but many manufacturers are trying to develop dots that don’t require red dot sight removal to change the battery.Adjusting the brightness is awkward. You have to reach in to the optic and press a button while inevitably smudging the lens. You also have to cycle all the way through the brightness settings to get the one you want.
